I’m co-hosting a reading for the brilliant Madeline Gins on Saturday, May 17th at 2 pm.  Rather than call it a memorial it’s called A Landing Site for Madeline Gins.  The landing site is a terms invented by Arakawa + Gins, an event-fabric, “any discerning whatsoever: a theoretical posit, a sited one,”  “every instance of world: emanating from or being there. ”

Reading from Madeline’s work are:

Xárene Eskandar
Aaron Kunin
Janice Lee
Laida Lertxundi
Aaron Panofsky
Vanessa Place
Anna Sew Hoy
Giovanni Singleton
Brian Stefans
Christine Wertheim

Co organized with Joseph Mosconi of the Poetic Research Bureau and Michael Govan, the head of LACMA.  We’re also fortunate to have Joke Post of the Arakawa + Gins Reversible Destiny Foundation attending from New York.
