Houses and familiar buildings can seem unfamiliar in dreams; the shadow is more real than the structure. The dead cow appeared in the nightmare of Umar Ashraf (anonymized name), Islamabad, Pakistan (Mar. 9, 2012). He described how he has to keep himself distracted with work, otherwise “the sound of the drone stays in my brain.”
