A drone in the classroom changes the dynamic of a learning space, and it gives us a chance to watch it as it looks at us.  These collaborative sessions are about teaching each other to control it, using it to observe ourselves and each other.  The drone is not the technology of the future — it’s the technology of the present, and these remote controlled observing-machines will lace through everything we do. This video is part of my project, Black Mirror, which examines depersonalizing technology in collective, critical and intimate ways.
